Director of Music and Fitness

Boys and Girls! I am Miss Eileen Chan (BSc USYD, Associate in Performance of the Trinity College of London, ABRSM Grade 8), an experienced music teacher who majored in piano for over 10 years.  I am also the Principal of 100 Fun Kids Education Centre! I have instructed more than one hundred students of all ages in both Australia and Hong Kong, many of whom have reached the Diploma level. On top of piano playing itself, I also teach music theory for children learning various instruments. And since I care deeply for the health of our children, I am BASI Pilates Instructor too!

Some people may feel annoyed by children, but I absolutely love communicating with them. I enjoy teaching kids, and they are all very lovely! It is not easy to hold their attention when learning different subjects in the classrooms at the very beginning, as it is quite scary when you mention the words like dictation, test, exam. Therefore we teachers must try to create a merry environment in order to motivate them. Having been a music teacher for many years, I found that most students have a common weakness – they only concentrate on exams, which is based around songs. I understand the importance of the practical part, as it is worth more than 60% of the exam, but music theory within actually plays a very important role in the path of music learning. Music theory is known as the language of music, it is the skeleton of all kinds of music. By learning this children can also greatly improve their versatility as a musician!

English Program Director

Hi! My name’s Welton and I’m the the English Program Coordinator here at 100 Fun Education.  Although by blood I am Chinese, I was born, raised, and schooled in sunny California, graduating with a B.A. in Psychology at San Diego State University. (I am also TESOL certified).  Under the tutelage of my professors, I gained an incalculable amount of academic and life lessons — ones that will stay with me my entire life.  In short, they inspired me to inspire others.  And that’s how I ended up in Hong Kong.

I’ve been living and teaching here for 4 years, and they’ve been the most thrilling years of my life.  English is a beautiful, profound language, nuanced like art, yet unyielding like science.  I feel it is my purpose to open the eyes to the children of Hong Kong — to show them that English isn’t a language they MUST learn, but a language they can grow to love. I firmly believe that with a charismatic leader, heaps of positive reinforcement, and a fun and challenging environment, anything can be learned

English Development Leader

My name is Carrie and I’m a native English-speaking, certified speech and language pathologist (language development specialist) from New York. I have an M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Hofstra University and a B.S. in Communicative Disorders from the New York State University of Geneseo. I’ve been working with children for over 13 years, specializing in teaching children how to understand and use English to effectively communicate. I have worked in New York, Bermuda, the Middle East and here in Hong Kong and can appreciate how each child and culture are different and unique.

I am passionate about working with all children and am trained to work with those that struggle to learn language or have identified language difficulties. Learning does not always come naturally to all children, but I make sure that it’s fun and motivating, so that each child blossoms!

Miss Ip is a retired primary school teacher, she has three decades of teaching experience in English, Chinese, Art and Crafts. In particular, She is familiar with the ‘Activity Approach’ and the ‘Shared book Approach’. By fostering a fun and lively learning environment, Miss Ip can help students to make progress in their studies.

我們的100分音樂及體適能總監

Miss Eileen ( BSc, ATCL),已經有超過10年兒童音樂教育的經驗, 她在香港以及澳洲教導過的學生超過一百人, 現在多人已經達到演奏文憑的水平. 除了演奏班, 陳老師也教授音樂理論, 音樂理論是學習每一種樂器必修課程, 從而加深對音樂的認知. 陳老師十分喜歡小朋友, 她的課堂都是以輕鬆,”簡易明” 的方法去引領學生, 踏上成功的道路!除了音樂, Miss Eileen持有BASI普拉提教練證書, 希望小朋友不論在小肌肉或大肌肉都有足夠的訓練

100分中文課程老師

課程導師:梁燕老師，註冊教師，教育碩士，文學博士研究生。曾任教中小學中文科多年，教學經驗豐富。所教學生成績優異，在各項校内外競賽活動中屢屢獲獎。參與商務出版社及教育圖書出版社語文教材編寫工作，是《活學中國語文》編者之一。

葉老師從事小學教育, 教授各年級中文, 英文, 視藝等科目, 經驗十分豐富, 並曾協助推行” Shared Book Approach” 設計教材以及工作紙  葉老師的活動教學方法大大提升學生對學習語文的興趣
